Now the Mueller team and US Southern District Court of New York would like to get a peek at Trump's tax returns.  Apparently, there is a rather large tax deduction in the amount of 800 million in question.  I guess "never Trumpers" and Democrats alike can hardly wait for the out come. I guess they are hoping for the deduction to be declared "illegal" and with the repayment and fines it could send the Trump Empire to ruins.

They can only hope, but is it really what Democrats want? I have never heard the IRS give a tax deduction to a specific individual or company. I'm sure other individuals or companies took this deduction as well. Maybe for less and possibly for more than 800 million. Maybe even an entrenched union company took this deduction as well. Are they really willing to hurt hard working union families? Or,shut down businesses over this now after many, many years illegal tax deduction? Because you know a reversal of this deduction will bring out a long list tax payers you used this deduction. So, let them have the returns, just be careful what you ask for.

I would listen to Alan Dershowitz a surprising President Trump supporter:  "President Trump and his legal team should be more focused on the Southern District of New York’s investigation rather than special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe"
“I’ve said from day one that the greatest risk to President Trump, his presidency and his businesses are in the Southern District of New York, not with Mueller.  The problem is that with the Southern District there are no constitutional defenses. These are business investigations,” Dershowitz said. “Of course, the president can’t be indicted but his businesses can be indicted. They can look into loans that he may have secured, foreign investments, foreign involvements. He has fewer defenses.”
“The U.S. Attorney's office can do all the investigations that are necessary and if I were Trump's lawyers, I would be focusing all of my defense efforts on the Southern District and let the Mueller probe go,” he said.

I have saw the videos  of alan D. Listen to mark Levin's legal analysis of the Sothern District's investigation of trump. 8-27 videos for yesterdays radio show probably covers it. My thoughts/theory doesn't debunk thier investigation only adds a possible negative consequence to reversing a tax deduction.

That's right, I was going to address that, but it was late and I forgot.

Many of those people who would try to take down Trump through his businesses and past dealings in the manner they are doing and proposing are part of the same mentality that looks at what the Mueller probe is pursuing versus Trump as valid, when there are clear signs that the evidence is pointing back at his 2016 opponent and her allies, including former President Obama, as doing something much more reprehensible, something that might make Watergate look like amateur hour, and the Okefenokee look like a puddle.

This mentality would also conclude that if they or their crony friends were guilty of the same or worse offenses they allege against Trump, that they would get off because they have a modicum of control over the justice system as it now stands.  If they want to go after Trump for decades old ventures, it shows that the swamp is not only very much alive, but unjustly vindictive as well.

As the old saying goes, Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house. I think most politicians live in glass houses.
