The deadline for submitting intent to pursue being the next Sixth Ward Councilor has come and gone, and two have submitted their interest.  The last contestant to apply was David Bourgette, if you recognize the name it may be because he owns the Sixth Ward's own Viking Arms Inn, just west of the local Rite-Aid.

The other applicant s none other than soon-to-be-former COVE volunteer, Carrie (Kosla) Rangel.  You may recognize her name from her past work with the Ludington's DDA, Lenz Insurance, and being the former wife of a mayoral candidate that lost in the 2013 primaries.  She already seems a little cozy with Ludington's ruling community development director:

They will both be interviewed by the six remaining councilors (one already appointed) at 4 PM on Monday at a special city council meeting.  They could very well be appointed at the regular meeting following at 6:30, since if they wait until the next regular council meeting on August 13, the seat vacated by Gary Castonia moving to the County Commission would be open for more than a month, which the city charter disallows.

Aren't they both libtards for the status-quo? That motel owner used to be, plus, he has no character nor integrity imho.

I honestly don't know about their politics.  When Carrie's ex, David Kosla, ran for mayor, he staked out a conservative/libertarian platform, otherwise, she hasn't made anything public I've seen that could be seen as partisan.  Bourgette doesn't like corporate welfare as can be seen by his two LCC appearances, but that's not a 'partisan' issue.  As you know, the LCC is non-partisan.

Carrie has already said she loves the direction Ludington is going on the radio the other day.  I would never vote for someone that naïve or complicit, but it's a great way for her to appeal to the 6 electors who publicly believe the same.

And, that LIbtard Carrie will most likely get the nod on Monday I presume, want to bet? Not knowing the CC political affiliation by name, doesn't mean we can't figure that out in a NY Minute either by now, lol.
