To all our gals of the forum with or without kids and grandkids, here's wishing you a very Happy Mother's Day today, and many happy returns. You guys don't forget Mom today and give her a wonderful gift of love that she'll remember. To those of us, like me, that have lost your Mom, remember her with a prayer and fond memories.

And be sure to realize that any decent mother deserves more than one day a year to be honored, revered, or remembered.

Gee, I guess we have no mothers on this forum, or else they all went out to lunch together......lol.
Well thank you for wishing us Mothers a Happy Mothers Day, personally mine sucked because I am stuck in NYC, while my kids are in Michigan. So I spent the day cleaning my apartment and watching bad movies. I hope everyone else had a better Mothers Day then I did.

My sibs decided I had to drive 225 miles on Mother's day in almost bumper to bumper traffic to read my Mother's will. We buried her on Good Friday.

The only thing good was something she willed me but since my sister cried, I let her have the most valuable item in the collection.I thought WWJD so graciously allowed her to have that item.

Oh yes, my kids called me (they live 1200 miles away) to encourage me by telling me I'm strong and can handle it.

masonco,

Sorry to hear about your mother.

Keep the faith, Masonco; I know your mom must be proud of you for your goodness.

It sounds like you're going through one of those periods where there is only one set of footprints in the sand.  Just in case you are not familiar with my reference I include the parable here.

Very sorry for your personal loss Masonco.
