March Madness: Pick a Final Four and a Champion

President Barack Obama has chosen the fourth seeded (in the Eastern section) Michigan State to go all the way this year in a bit of a surprise (see the filled bracket below).  Your mission, whether you decide to accept it, is to pick one team from each directional bracket and choose one that will win from those four.  See if you are better at deciding brackets better than Barack, and the rest of our members.  The winner will get a piece of memorabilia of a college/university of their choice from the Ludington Torch.   Choose wisely.

Final Four:  Ohio State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Michigan:  Winner:  A Big Ten team

Wishful thinking, but don't be surprised if two of the teams are from this conference.  I can't go against the Prez, Willy, or my alma mater:  Michigan State.

I'm a little surprised that 2 big ten teams have already been eliminated and the darn thing just got started. I hope this is not a bad sign for the big ten. I'm a State fan to and went there for a short while until I decided I wanted to live the hobo life.

We're down to the Elite Eight, and both Willy and I have been good predictors so far.  Three of our choices are 3-0, Louisville getting eliminated for him so far, and OSU for me (rotten Buckeyes).  Hoping for an all-Michigan finale.

Michigan was tied with 3 seconds remaining, Michigan State was two points behind with 30 seconds left, but both fell short today.  It will be UConn, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Florida in the Final Four-- me and Willy still have one in.
