A major section of the Principal Katie Eisinger puzzle has finally dropped into place. We have documented our difficulties in gathering facts underlying the school's case against their own principal in Marshalling a Narrative, where the interim superintendent, Mary Marshall, was shown to have some moral failures on her part which led to an amoral inquisition to fire Eisinger. That article was dropped after we used what facts we were able to gather in the article Exoneration... of Eisinger, where police investigations showed nothing awry with Eisinger's behavior, but plenty wrong with the false-report filing of teacher Laura Holmes.
While Marshall would withhold public records unlawfully before the tribunal against Eisinger was held on June 15th, minus the ducking stool historically used in such situations, the fever pitch of Marshall's efforts to make the removal of Eisinger her legacy was too much for the cuckolds currently on the board and she was removed. Trusted trustees explicitly stated that the conduct they saw on the school's security video was damning for Eisinger's defense. Yet, neither Marshall nor the board would actually show the crime caught by the camera in this kangaroo court, and we would learn that the school would never provide that video to the accused or her attorney, so they could not use it for their defensive purposes either.
Our early FOIA request included a request for that footage, but it never was supplied to us by Marshall as her last day of power approached. Fortunately, our new full-time superintendent, Travis Walker, was able to finally meet our request after being reminded of the oversight-- that likely wasn't an oversight. We offer it here and ask our readers to look at it themselves and decide for themselves whether it merited the termination of a principal with an established career of excellence, a room full of supporters on that mid-June day, not to mention a solid defense laid out by her attorney.
A little of the set up: on the morning of February 26, 2026, in the hallways of the Ludington Elementary School (LES), we see mostly an empty corridor. Over the course of the nearly two minute video (no audio) we see action occur mostly on the lower part of the screen, where the main action under consideration takes place at the 43 second mark. Blow it up to full screen, go frame by frame or by the lowest speed you can achieve. Do you see anything conclusive as to any impropriety when you look at it?
We don't, our observation is consistent with another teacher that was present and just off camera during this whole incident, Larry Lynch, who claimed he saw nothing done by Principal Eisinger that merited any cause for concern. The Mason County Sheriff RSO for that facility and one of their detectives conferred that this video footage was at the least exculpatory for Eisinger.
The footage confirms that the whole exercise was indeed a witch hunt launched by a temporary superintendent with a grudge and certain union mean-girls who didn't either like Eisinger for her style of administration and/or for her moderated support for the former superintendent. This was not an effort based on the merits of the specious charges leveled against her. Never was.
Let's hope that our school district can do what's right now that the cloud of hysteria has come and passed.
