Another never Trumper bites the dust : Lindsey Vonn injures back in World Cup event

When I first heard that this Olympian ditzed Trump and said she would not go to the White House if she was invited. I thought, well, I hope she doesn't qualify or win just so we don't have another embarrassing display by an American athlete. I am sick and tired of these leftists creeps, who are looked up to by kids, trashing the President. In the famous words of Rush, I hope she fails.
We don't need this kind of mentality representing the U.S. She gets no sympathy from me.

Lindsey Vonn’s road to her final Olympics has encountered some trouble.

The American skiing star was treated for a back injury after completing her World Cup Super-G race in St. Moritz, Switzerland on Saturday.  Vonn went to the ground after crossing the finish line and observers said she was experiencing extreme pain. She was treated in a nearby house and later limped to a car without speaking to reporters.

Though her father later told the Associated Press that Vonn was “okay,” the news is concerning.  Vonn missed the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi due to a right knee injury.

The 2018 Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea start on February 8.  Vonn, 33, has said this will be her final Olympics.

Vonn is one of the most decorated American skiiers of all time, taking gold in the downhill at the 2010 Games in Vancouver and winning four overall World Cup titles.

She made news earlier this week when she said would “represent the people of the United States” at the Olympics “not the president. Vonn also said she would not visit the White House as part of the traditional appearance by all American Olympians.

I added a video made between the statement and the injury.  I can't wait to see how CNN is going to blame Trump for her back problems.

She apparently recovered from her back injury enough to still be involved with the Olympics but her first attempt at a medal didn't work out. Vonn failed to earn a medal in the super G race and I for one am very happy about that. Now we won't have to watch her make a fool of herself and embarrass the Country by turning down a visit to the White House. She's another spoiled leftist athlete who shows disrespect for the Country she is supposed to represent. I've never been glad about one of our Olympians failing but in her case I am.
