New walkway for handicap/walkers now complete, along with donors names inscribed on the boards. Of note was retired Capt. Bernard Rotta. I did not see the mayor's nor other councilor's names as donors though. I'm impressed with the length and quality of the work, good job all that participated. Thanks for a nice addition to Stearns Park beach.

My poppy has a copy.  It's too precious to lend out to anyone else, his words, so I will try to scan it, and send it to you.

If you have a copy, I'd like to read it, or send me a pm to my email address please.

Captain Barney has went to his reward (or punishment) a few years back, so this was generously donated on his behalf by one of his offspring.  This guy was probably one of the most colorful carferry captains that came out of Ludington, and if you can ever get a copy of "Barney's Bible" an instruction guide he gave to his mariners, you will find one of my sources for my skewed views.
