Have you ever felt nervous when you don't know a lot about that ticket scalper, drug dealer, or flirty minor you agreed to meet with over the computer? Now there's a safe place to go to exchange goods and services.
The MCP reports: "The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is offering the use of its lobby as a safe place to go for people making online purchases. The lobby is open 24 hours a day and is monitored by video cameras with corrections officers in the next room.

“We want to provide a safe place for these transactions to happen,” Cole said. “If it can’t take place, we really encourage people to be in an area that is well lit and frequented by the public. It should be a highly visible place."

That's funny guys. I esp. like stump's reference to gun sales, and X's on the donuts. LMAO

I'm sure they'll welcome and tolerate all those people who trade guns and explosives with each other in the sheriff's office lobby, stump.  Getting the motorcycle in will be a cinch, the harder act will be getting that used car inside there.

Most dangerous, however, would be a bulk donut purchase.  No deputy is going to miss out on a seizure of that contraband.

I wonder if I could drive my motorcycle in . A lot of money to be exchanged . I wonder about gun sales, I wouldn't want somebody coming to my house per say to buy a gun thats for sale. I can see the good side, but once your off the property your fair game.

Why would anyone want to drive to the MCSO to exchange goods? I want my pizza delivered where I'm going to eat it, and not get unsolicited offers of sharing it too, lol. Another publicity stunt by the media hound, Cole imho. Must be getting bored of no new press releases again.
