Ok... I just have to say this...

So only 6 children( Children do not seriously get the virus, pass it on or die from it except in rare cases) can be on the bus at one time so essentially there will be no bus service? ( another strategy to shut down schools and piss parents off) BUT... the South American fruit and farm workers can FILL up a bus every other day and head to WALMART to do their shopping. Mask less I might add.

So the other day , I went to Walmart, although I try to avoid that place as much as possible during this season. At the risk of being a Karen... since I do not support Mask wearing or the mask police, I noticed that many of the migrant workers were not wearing masks. Perhaps all of you noticed that the biggest outbreak was in Oceana County at five farms over the last several months when the workers came to town to start picking and harvesting. There have even been a handful of deaths of which the Ludington Snooze has not featured.

In fact, the dear Governor only mandated that they even be tested only two weeks ago. She also mandated that they wear masks . Add to that the fact that WALMART corporate mandated masks as well and checks everyone at the door. But I guess children , housewives, the elderly,  and hardworking non -migrant  men all need to comply , but crop workers DO NOT even though they are the ones proven to be infected with the virus.

This insanity needs to stop. Parents need to swarm the School Board meetings with more demands that benefit THEIR children.Clearly the teachers and board don't give a rats behind about the students. I was a teacher for over 25 years so I speak from a place of experience with those dimwits.

This and the mail in balloting push is surely heading us down a rabbit hole we may never get out of...

I am starting to not even recognize our country anymore.

Thanks for illustrating very effectively the situations that present themselves to us in today's world, where the political narratives are self-contradictory and the media uses its power to make you believe the Orwellian dystopic euphemisms such as "War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength."

If anything good comes out of this 'pandemic' in the long run, I hope it will be a restructuring of the public school system, which has been drifting away from its core duties of preparing kids for college and vocational training into a breeding ground for indoctrination into servitude to the state.
