I found several like this last nite surfing around the net. I was hoping it would bring some education and appreciation for our heritage in Ludington, esp. to transplants. So many want to condemn the Badger over smoke. When we had 6-9 carferrys here year around, there was a lot more smoke, and no one complained. There were also a lot more great paying jobs too, and no one complained about that either. I personally sailed on the #s 31, 32, 41, 42, & 43. I also toured the 22 after retirement. Can anyone name the carferrys I mentioned here? I'll bet easy and max can. Thanks.

Wonderful photos in this video Aquaman. It's hard to believe that the Spartan hasn't operated in 35 years.

Never had the opportunity to travel on the Spartan, just regularly see it at port over the last few decades being used for salvage parts for the Badger.  Thanks for this tribute to the old ship.
