For anyone voting early by absentee ballot and thinking of voting for Rob Davidson please consider that he has a 6 point proposal for gun control none of which I agree with.

-Ending gun manufacturers’ near-total immunity that prevents them from accountability
-Universal, more-robust background checks for all gun sales
-Banning military-style assault weapons such as the AR-15 used in Parkland
-Banning high-capacity magazines
-Providing more funds for mental health programs and behavioral medicine resources in schools
-Ending a 22-year-old provision that blocks the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from researching gun violence and its impact on public health

While I do not agree with everything Congressman Bill Huizenga has done he has been a strong proponent for protecting your 2nd amendment rights.

Davidson does start off with a shaky premise:  "More people in Michigan die from gun violence than from traffic accidents."

If one thinks that the 59% of gun deaths that are suicides is "gun violence", then he's right.  In the latest year of record, 2016, there was 1064 traffic deaths, and 1223 gun deaths in Michigan, yet only 506 of the gun deaths were not suicides.  Traffic fatalities are more than twice as likely to happen than one person shooting another dead.

Davidson has the typical unrealistic ideals of modern Democrats on health care (mandated and inefficient), income inequality ($15 minimum wage), immigration (open borders), and education (feed the teacher's unions).

Rob gets no vote from me. I disagree with his immigration stance as well as his ignorant take on the 2nd Amendment.  Did he ever consider how many people use motor vehicles to kill themselves. In my lifetime, I've known several who have attempted it.
