I saw in the death notices that Victoria Adams aged 21 passed away. I read that Toni Swiger and step father Tom Rotta are listed.

Let me say Prayers are with all of you. Having just lost my Husband last month, I really understand how hard it is to lose a loved one.

RIP Victoria and may the family find much support from many who care. I don't have a link, but it says a memorial service will be held on Tuesday morning at Lighthouse Baptist church.

Share your sympathies here if you wish and show support for Tom and Toni.

Tom and Toni I am so sorry for your loss, nothing could be said that would ease the pain. But you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Lisa, Masonco.

Masonco, I am so sorry for your loss, too.  As always, let me know if I can help you in any way.

Here's Victoria's obituary in the MCP:  http://www.masoncountypress.com/2012/11/08/obit-victoria-adams-21-l...  and I just posted a thread as part of the grieving process.

Deepest sympathies to Toni, Tom, and Masonco all, I'm very sorry for your losses.

Thank you for your concerns, I would not have said anything about my husband passing, except while the grieving process is there in no way can it compare to losing a child. My church has been very supportive and even raised money to help me with much needed repairs.

We all miss your presence here Masonco, don't be a stranger, we care too. Glad to see you're getting help too, best to ya.

Thank you all. I've been kinda in over my head with stuff including repairs, poachers, vultures (people), legal stuff, anger, and the list goes on. But I  am a survivor and I have God at my side, so I will get through this.

Again, right now Tom and Toni need our support.  I would like us to pray and support them so they have strength to continue. Again, I think losing a child is hard than losing a spouse. Yes it is lonely out here in the boonies, but still losing a beautiful child with so much potential...I just can not imagine.

I am so very sorry for your loss, the loss of a child I belive is the hardest thing that a human being could ever have to go through. My prayers go out to you and your family.

I would be remiss if I did not personally thank the paramedics that arrived and continued lifesaving efforts for nearly an hour before the hospital staff took over.  That includes a very special thanks to the Scottville First responders, two of which rode in the back of the ambulance to continue resuscitation efforts on the long trip to the hospital.  I was waiting for their arrival at the hospital, and saw them working with directed urgency when they transferred her out.

I wish they could have all been rewarded with a save, but all I can wish now is that they also recover from the experience, so they can continue doing their important jobs at their best.  It can be very hard on rescue workers to lose a young person, even if they did everything right.
