There seems to be a lack of reporting in the main stream media about the affects of all the illegals that are streaming across the border. The crime, disease, cost of and social upheaval caused by these hoards of people is going to seriously affect our economy our medical and educational system, our wages and a myriad of other negative factors that we, Americans, will have to deal with all because the Democrats and Republicans are hell bent on screwing us.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) wrote in its Feb. 2011 article "The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on United States Taxpayers" on www.fairus.org:
"Illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion a year at the federal, state and local level… The annual outlay that illegal aliens cost U.S. taxpayers is an average amount per native-headed household of $1,117... Education for the children of illegal aliens constitutes the single largest cost to taxpayers, at an annual price tag of nearly $52 billion...

At the federal level, about one-third of outlays are matched by tax collections from illegal aliens. At the state and local level, an average of less than 5 percent of the public costs associated with illegal immigration is recouped through taxes collected from illegal aliens. Most illegal aliens do not pay income taxes. Among those who do, much of the revenues collected are refunded to the illegal aliens when they file tax returns...

With many state budgets in deficit, policymakers have an obligation to look for ways to reduce the fiscal burden of illegal migration. California, facing a budget deficit of $14.4 billion in 2010-2011, is hit with an estimated $21.8 billion in annual expenditures on illegal aliens. New York's $6.8 billion deficit is smaller than its $9.5 billion in yearly illegal alien costs."

It's enough to make one xenophobic.  In the first video's semi-organized compilations of news stories, I couldn't help but notice that the lone MSNBC and CNN contributions were rather non-committal, and that most of the rest (mostly local news stations) treated the illegal immigrations status as a small background issue.

It confirmed what Laura Ingraham says in the second video and what anybody should recognize if they consume news for any period of time: that illegality is not treated as a big issue of the crimes committed, just a statistic of the criminal.  What can also be inferred, which dovetails with her guest's words, is that many of the news articles may gloss over the immigration status of the alleged offender(s) just so as to be politically correct or because they editorially do not believe it's a contributing factor to the crime or even just because it helps strengthen the progressive position in America.  Either way, it's detrimental to our national health and security.

Until this country elects a new President that believes in the current immigration laws and is steadfastly going to let authorities enforce them, we are doomed to continue down this path forever. How many more innocent citizens will be negatively affected before something changes to reverse this trend?

And now we have CUBA
