Sheriff do over? And why do we care ?

I am really confused now after reading this article.

Chuck, are you referring to the Cole-Fiers comparisons at the top of the COLDNews yesterday, and continued into the paper? 

It has been interesting to note how there hasn't been anything happening as regarding this in over two months, and it's gotten fairly anticlimactic.  Is anyone planning on changing their original vote, and why?

Well I'm confused, Fiers said there are only 17 people working there and that he didn't notice a moral problem. Then later he says the inmates are probably why there's a low moral problem.... I'm trying to stay open but he confused me.

Quite correct, snafu I do suppose by Chucky, so please, go ahead and post the link, anyone, so we can see what this is about, thanks. Btw, imho, Fiers is a lot less confused and egotistic than Cole is, or ever will be for that matter. If people aren't lazy or pro-union to the max, they will write in Fiers come election time.

Really...Why do we care...UMMM because we need to make sure that we have a Sheriff that we can trust,not one that has an arrogant attitude and I think we all know which is which...

Well Mr. Finley I find it very odd that you sent me a friend request on F B and also sent me a request to join our group of which is CALLED WE WILL NOT GIVE UP WE WILL BE WRITTING IN TO ELECT JEFF FIERS...so I check everyone out before I except their requests and see that you just started your F B account with no profile pic or any other info about yourself so you could be anyone,who even knows if that is really your name and you if your a cole supporter then why are you trying to friend Fiers supporters and trying to join our groups.Are you trying to spy ? OUR LAST SHERIFF WAS JEFF FIERS BEFORE HIM WAS LAUDE HARTRUMBEFORE HIM WAS LARRY STEWERTAND BEFORE HIM I WAS LIVING IN JACKSON SO NOT SURE BUT IF YOU NEED TO KNOW I COULD LOOK IT UP FOR YOU.

I do not think that many people will change who the originally voted for. The one thing that could change would be people voting who did not vote in the primary. It comes down to who gets out to vote.

Unless Kim Cole is brought up on credible criminal charges, gets caught in a den of hookers, or the like, Sheriff Fiers will do quite a bit worse, I fear.  Straight ticket Republicans/Democrats and people without knowledge of the write-in choice will reduce Fiers' numbers the second time around.

Brian, I think you are on cue here this time, it's getting out the primary stand downs that didn't vote, or thought the current Sheriff was a given. That's why people need to be pro-Fiers and write in his name this time. Will it happen though? Time will tell. I know a lot of people that were caught off guard and surprised at the primary results.

Englebrecht, Carrier, Jensen if you needed to know. All I wanted to know is what does it matter? Who really interacts with the sheriff if you are not a criminal? But if you are a criminal, you would want someone in office that would leave you alone and not do their job. I just think its funny with all the whining about, " Oh, We didn't know about the primary, we didn't think it mattered till November" I find it odd that it matters at all to anyone, well unless you deal with the law more than others. So Ms. Baker you have to tell me why it matters? I waited for supporters to come to my house Saturday with Fiers Flyers, but no one did.... convince me Ms. Baker...make me want to write in a vote that is going to cost the county an exuberant amount of money to tally, which Im sure he has saved in a jelly jar some where, its going to cost us big bucks for the write in so make me want to feel good about spending it.
