Back in 08 when Obama won the first time. I was disappointed. But I quickly decided just maybe the hype was real, and this guy with no real credentials for the highest office, could organize a real consensus and possibly do some big thing like maybe spend a billion or so on improving our rail system so all our freight could move faster via rail. That alone would save us huge amounts of fuel and carbon emissions of all the trucks that currently clog the roads now. And dare I mention Jobs? The kind you need to create growth?
Sure education is great many can benefit from BA on up degrees. But if you only demonize the very businesses that employ those degree holding people why would they stay here and produce anything?
Instead he let Harry Reid and Pelosi give us a healthcare bill only somewhat popular with the Dems, and very unpopular with the rest of the political spectrum. He even took over 700 billion out of the current Medicare program to jump start this.
He now has to deal with basically the same congressional make up of Washington and pay for all the things he threw money at to get re-elected.
We are being told now, he will come to the center and be a better leader. What part of this picture sounds unlikely to anyone besides me?
My prayer now is if we are going to spend another crap load of money we don't have we should produce something for it. Not welfare checks....paychecks. Saying government money builds the economy is circular thinking. Like perpetual motion there is too much loss in the redistribution for it to actually work as a way to build the economy.

Same $hit, different day.

Only now will those who assumed health would be free, will see what a huge price we will pay.

Obama has been and remains to be bad news for our country.
