Grassroots Operation:  Ludington Democracy in our 151st year (aka GOLD 151) is a citizen effort in 2024 to right the direction of city leadership that has lost its way.  Our main goal is to see that each city council seat is up for vote in 2024 with candidates more attuned to the people and their concerns.  To that end, we have initiated recall petitions on three in order to get each councilor re-evaluated by voters for their actions over the last year or so, these petitions have four reasons, there are more.  Our effort hopes to get challengers for all 7 council races so that we can break up the team that currently works against our interests, and replace it with a team that holds those interest to heart and mind when they make their decisions.  City races are non-partisan and so is this group, so do not mistake our efforts as being other than those of a group with diverse opinions and viewpoints that wants change at city hall and an end to the nonsense.
