"Convoy"? What made that movie stand out for you, Dave?
A favorite movie, to me, is one that you can watch again in a fairly short time and get as much if not more enjoyment from it. I must include in this list:

    True Lies
    Men at Work
    Balls of Fury
    Dodgeball: The Movie
    Army of Darkness
    Evil Dead 2
    The Last Boy Scout
    Blue Velvet
    Big Trouble in Little China
    The Wizard of Oz
    They Live!

Definitely Mel Brooks makes some of the best comedies.... Young Frankenstein (#1 in my book), Blazing Saddles, Space Balls, & Robin Hood: Men in Tights (my 2nd favourite if Mel's)... just to name a few.

But I also love a good Horror/Suspense flick.... I will watch anything with Sir Anthony Hopkins in it... Silence of the Lambs is my fav.... but he is the best at that kind of role (from all the way back in the days of "Magic" he's the best at being "out-of-his-mind-evil." There is also a little-known flick that I love thast I don't even know if it is released on dvd, the last time I saw it was on vhs tape.... it's called "The Changeling" (not the recent movie with Angelina Jolie... & no, that's not a remake of the one I mean either). This one is with George C. Scott (another of my fav actors) & it is chilling & I could never see it enough times. Another high-suspense one is "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle"... Rebecca DeMornay seemed to take lessons from Hopkins on how to play a seriously deranged sociopathic murderer ;)
