Local Teen's Quick Action Saves Judge

16 year old Landon Mosqueda was driving on Jebavy at 11 AM on Saturday March 29th when he noticed a motorist had drove off the road and was experiencing some kind of medical emergency. The Ludington High School wrestler and football player flagged down some nearby police units, and Landon's quick action along with the emergency medical response by the officers seems to have saved the life of the driver who appeared to have had a heart attack while driving and was unresponsive, not breathing, and lacked a pulse when officers arrived. Using an AED and CPR, officers were able to revive the driver, who happened to be 79th District Court Judge John Middlebrook. In such situations, seconds matter, and Landon's heroic effort to do what he could to save the judge's life (who is in stable condition) should be highlighted. One hopes that this should at least get Landon some leniency in the future if he ever gets a speeding ticket in the county.
