Were you standing in a tree when you took this picture?

It's a friend's house upstairs. Else I'm a monkey climbing trees in winter? Anyhow, it appears those two people aren't even close to the pierhead, and appears there is water inside of them. So now what? Reasonable behavior? Even if that is the elbow, look how high the ice is there from the water, at least 10'-15' looks like, dangerous.

I took the picture below yesterday 2-14-18. I can guarantee that there will be thousands of people, come this weekend, climbing all over the shore ice along the Great Lakes. It's an annual thing enjoyed by all.Trying to save people from themselves never works.
