Wise words. Good find Aquaman. This could have been written for Obama by his speech writers with the word  "cannot" replaced with "can" then it would fit his and the Democrats philosopy, agenda and beliefs.

Abe probably had the wisdom to say it, but he never put ink out with it.  These maxims were penned originally a half century after Lincoln's demise by an obscure reverend named William Boetcker.
