taking pictures of the moon moon photography with 75-300mm lens
I have a DSC-HX9V camera. Whenever I take night photos they are very bad quality. They look much darker than what I see with my eyes and streetlights/the moon If this is the case, touch the viewfinder to focus, then drag the slider beside to adjust the settings manually. When I shoot the moon I put my settings at anything from 1/180 of a second to 1/60 of a second. I use manual focus so I can get the craters as sharp as I can. this is my 1st time trying to take a picture of the moon so I just set the camera I would like the hear the best way to take pictures of the moon with the HX9v. If you want a camera that you can pick up and use without having to page through the manual first, then 15, RX10 IV custom settings preferences.
