The construction is nickel plated brass and t are two chambers .. one side is the wick .. the other side is the vapor making torch [see photos for understanding]. from the torch, I actually spent more time trying to get a thin wire attached to the "Vulcan" torch tank. The attached wire was so I wouldn't have to reach down into the fluid to retrieve the torch tank. And it worked! I just lowered the fuel tank in, walked off, and returned later.
