I've been having an issue where documents printed to PDF - 9835258. issue where documents printed to PDF (via Word or Powerpoint) will end up missing some images. It could be the PDF version, even that I do not really believe that. Though I wonder if you can use the trial software on the Adobe website to get a single print off.
