Thank you for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated! I looked up the MC-909 manual online, and it does indeed take a 3.3v Smart Media card. Also, I did read review on amazon, and another person did try the converter but unfortunately, to no avail. It looks like there is no short cut to this one. Selling the RS7000 is NOT an option - it sequences in a way not much else does and has a definite purpose in my rig. an MC-808/Laptop combo might be more practical than menu diving on a standalone MC-909.
