While Aquaman was taking pictures of the Badger I was over at Stearns beach capturing the damage done to the southern most walkway on the beach. Just what does the city dumb as_es think is going to happen to the outrageous changes they want to make at the end of Ludington Ave when the waves creep in. As I said the only way they will protect their/our investment is to build a seawall which will of course mean the elimination of the beach.
Wow, nice capture picture of this Willy, had no idea. Someone should take an enlarged picture of this to the next city council mtg. to ask them why this happened, and why their placement of walkway was so neglectful. And why Beach Patrol let this happen when they are supposed to watching the water and related swimmers. Thanks for the share Willy.
That's exactly what they plan to do with the beach between the West End of Ludington Avenue and the breakwall in the walkway phase, build a seawall and take away a treasured portion of beach. For those not familiar with this section, it is often much warmer than the beach north of the breakwater and all points north in the late spring, early summer. This section of beach is often calm when the other side is turbulent.
