With all due respect Willy, you can't just blame an entire generation for all our problems now. How many of the 76 million baby boomers hold office? Maybe 1,000? And what about our voting? Who's voting these radicals in? BB's or the general population? How many BB's even vote anymore? Talk about making bad laws/ordinanaces? Look at the City of Ludington. Poor tiny little insignificant in the mainstream of the USA Ludington. We can't even control the stupidities, unethical, and illegal conduct of a few 10-12 people in local government here, so how can we make any difference at the National, State, or County level? If enough people got off their lazy apathetic butts and made the effort to protest and recall the insane people making all these problems, maybe we could alter our misguided course. Until those scared rabbits do something besides whine, we are all doomed. Problem is, as X has found out, they ignore anything the few individuals in public that have the guts to say or do anything. If they get sued, so what, they pay and say it's a technicality. It takes many many people to gather to make the tide turn. Until those scared rabbits see their very own existence threatened, their own families hurt, their jobs disappear, their freedoms vanish, they will continue to be silent, and slaughtered like lambs.

But the problem is that the radical boomers are the ones making bad laws, running up our huge national debt, spying on Americans who use cell phones and the internet, creating the Patriot Act and a thousand other freedom robbing dictates.

There are currently about 76 Million Americans born between 1946-1964, the Baby Boomer generation. The majority of subculture radicals of the 1960's-1970's pretty much became mature conservative full time working adults and parents from the 1980's onward. The "majority of baby boomers" today remain the silent majority, for all intents and purposes. The "extreme fringe radicals" of the day, are the burnouts that remain that way today imho. Naturally, the radical progressive leftists get the high visibility and attention, just like they always did in the past. See the Wickapedia definitions and backgrounds for more in-depth analysis. The "baby boomers" have contributed more wealth, spending, and charity to the US economy than any other generation of Americans known today. And probably more fun doing it too, as the slogan above states.

Blaming one generation for this and exalting one generation for that is pretty much a pointless exercise anyway, much like astrology.  One thing I've learned is that there are amazing individuals in each generation, and there is not a generation so venerable that they didn't have some bad representatives.

And sorry to say they have controlled the County long enough to run it into the ground. The parents of the baby boomers were a responsible and honorable generation but their children, who became the "age of Aquarius" leftists, are now in the process of choking our freedoms and financially bankrupting our country and spewing progressive and corrupt ideals. The majority of baby boomers are hard working and honest but the radicals from Berkley, SDS, The Weathermen, black panthers and all the other radical groups have politically matured and are now in charge and they are strangling the life out of free America. We're in a sh_t load of trouble and I see no stopping these generational baby boomer communist / progressives because they are also in control of the media who are spewing  and supporting this radical change in our Country and spreading their propaganda not only to the general public but in our schools and colleges.
