Guess which one's the Chief? One thing I always noted with the historical LFD pics is that there would be eras where almost everyone sported a mustache and/or beard, and then other times almost all were clean shaven. Probably a mandate from the Chief at the time. Nowadays, beards are frowned on due to their interference with putting on the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) necessary for rescue/fighting fires.
