Lingyan Zou's body was found in the Ludington Municipal Marina around 9 AM on June 2nd, 2012. The official cause of death was listed as suicide, however, this goes far from explaining her disappearance almost two days prior and the absence of water in her lungs, the patently unsafe area she was found at, and other irregularities in the investigation.
