This here building's purpose has long been forgotten by many, closed even before the depression hit so hard. Where is it, and what was it used for?

Actually, way back in the hayday, we locals used to laughably refer to this establishment as the Ludington Radio Shack, before there was a Radio Shack. That goes to the core of the age of the building here.........lol. Actually, inside it wasn't all that bad with some refurbishments and new TV sets to look at, on the base floor that is anyhow. The upstairs was definitely 1920's era not restored........as was the basement and backrooms......rofl.

I would really like to see a picture of this old shop in its heyday.  I love the architectural lines of it, and I love how well it worked with the 'aging' process.

The old Ludington Radio Shop, worked there for a while after school/summers, also lived upstairs one summer, way back in the day. Sold radios/tv's and repaired too. An eyesore now pretty much. Need a new tackle store there.
