Some believe that it is patriotic to support one’s country, and every decision its leaders make. no matter what.
Alas, blindly supporting your government's every policy is called nationalism, not patriotism.
American patriots support this country, but they also stand up for what is right and fight as hard as they can to keep this country great, even when it means being a voice of dissent.

A true nationalist says: "Everything my country does is right." A true patriot says: "Whatever is right-- that is what my country must do!"
