I was finishing my weekend of work on the waterfront about 6pm tonight, when, all of a sudden, I saw a convoy of boats approaching, with the USCG boat blue lights flashing, followed by a barge with small crane atop, with something on top. Yes, to my surprise and alarm, the lost aircraft of recent was in sight, and being put ashore. Mission accomplished now. Both victims and airplane now recovered and ready for investigation of the tragedy unfolding in our humble port on Lake Michigan.
