Wildfire, this pic could probably find its home in a "Lord of the Rings" movie; it does have a hint of ambivalent malevolence in it-- definitely not a Reedian photograph. 

Streeter, you refer to me as 'L' in some spots and 'X' in others.  I may be L, but I feel like XL, and my mind operates at an X year old level, while sometimes having XXX thoughts.

This picture  would look good on halloween cards, the bird in the sky could almost pass as a bat, or is it ? lol

Hmm, a meme campaign might be effective in getting the message out.  There could be some value to hitting the DNR sites with what exactly will be taken from the people of Ludington if this grant goes through.

Fantastic shot Willy, well done. X, you hit the nail on the head. Maybe this picture, with Willy's permission, should be used as the background for a petition against the west end deal, to promote community awareness, and make the city council aware up close of what they propose to destroy for all time.

If the West End Project goes through, a picture like this will be impossible without capturing streetlights and benches on a basically flat landscape absent of any dunes.  And the community will be a couple million dollars poorer.
