An interesting meeting tonight, with a lot of public officials listening to some LIAA information.  I hope to post the audio, and a synopsis on it when I look it over a bit more.  Interestingly also, there was nobody from the local media showing up, just me and a couple other interested citizens.

This was found in the Ludington City Council packet of the last meeting, it is fairly clear that the public can attend due to the OMA, but not wanted.  I seen one small boxed notice in the paper about a week ago; but our local news agencies have the same notion as our governments, as this has not been previewed as it has been here.  If they do, I'm sure it will be LIAA's own news release almost verbatim. 

Look for them to print a glowing commentary about the workshop meeting come later tonight or tomorrow.  I am sure most of the more controversial topics for discussions have already been covered, as evidence by the prior two unpublicized closed meetings with our unelected City, Township and County leaders.

Thanks for posting this notice. This is the first I have heard of this meeting. Do you know when they first notified the public about the meeting?  I won't be able to make it because of the short notice time. People should be given ample time to be able to attend when something as important as this comes around.
