A fire that originated in a truck parked close to Lundquist's Furniture in Scottville spread to the nearby warehouse, and had to be extinguished. Damage was minimal to warehoused furniture, but the structure took some fair damage to the outside, and the smell of smoke permeated the rest of the store, which was closed temporarily during salvage operations.
