This past Monday, Nov. 6th, the LDN printed this editorial cartoon. A very small apology was printed back on page 3 today by Patti Klevorn. And today retired editor Steve Begnoche made his case for the cartoon being good. I think it's warped and totally inappropriate myself, how about you?

And, Steve Begnoche originates from San Antonio, just 25 miles away from this last mass shooting locale.
Just for clarification, Steve Begnoche did have an editorial in the COLDNews on the day Aquaman noted which did not address the cartoon, but did address the NRA and this shooting. The reference Aq uses is a Facebook posting of the black and white cartoon in our fellow citizen-ran website Concerned Locals of Ludington, where Begnoche acknowledged the cartoon was upsetting but that it had its desired effect of eliciting a response from the viewer. An apology hasn't been made at the COLDNews website for their decision to choose this cartoon to promote their locally-unpopular agenda of less gun rights for the people.
Cartoonist Jeff Stahler has used mass shootings for his own goal of more gun control over the years, sometimes he seems to cross the line for taking such shootings so lightly. I think it's rather typical for the poorly-aimed ideology behind 'progressive' thinking.
I agree Aquaman. This is a warped cartoon. It's not surprising that the leftist LDN would consider this funny. I love humor but not at the expense of innocent people. This only solidifies my assessment that the LDN is not a paper for the people, it's only those who have similar views that they hold. This is sick.
