The four states bordering Michigan have auto insurance rates 43% to 16% below the national average, but Michigan's rate is 127% above the average. The brainiacs in Lansing instead of doing their duties of making sure the state road system is passable (it is among the worst in the nation), have instead diverted their efforts into making insurance unaffordable to the people. Vote No on legislative incompetence, vote No on Proposal 1.
Thanks X, had no idea of this at all. Michigan used to be one of the lowest most economical rates in the nation. Looks like no more. That last legislation costs about $400/vehicle more last I checked annually.
