Resident Bald Eagle at Stearns Park this summer 2021.
This is at least the second year Bald Eagles have taken residence at Stearns Park Beach in the trees. If they feel comfortable and secure, they will take on the same nesting spots for many years in some instances. However, if they feel threatened by animals or man,they will nest elsewhere in the future.

Pic. is courtesy Donald Whitenight, as far as a nest, I assume so, the territory doesn't produce much food with all the ppl. there in the summer I would think.

Terrific photo. Did you take it? Is there a nest in the park or do the eagles just use the trees to watch over their territory.
