Tsunami,north breakwater, Ludington Michigan

I was going thru my files and found this photo that I took in October 2014. I was amazed at how tall this wave is. I figure the wave to be around 15ft to 20ft high.

It didn't look like your typical July wave, but I decided to put it up on the masthead because we're getting to the beginning of the wave season here in Ludington, and it reminds us of the power of water (while the Ludington Torch reminds us of the power of another element). 

Another reminder, summer doesn't last forever, make sure you visit your local beach while you still can wade in it or see it unfrozen.
