Thanks for the compliment X. Note, there are no stop lights downtown then, and probably no traffic cops either, and still, all is well. More shoppers than today from the looks of things too. No DDA then, didn't need any fools to muck things up like today.

It's online somewhere, and I am sharing it from another. Actually Willy, the downtown as we know it today has shrunken quite a bit, both in today's financial, and physical ways. The population has also done likewise. Jobs and commerce as we knew it, even from the 50's, has steadily declined. Of course it doesn't help when the COL caters to and promotes only tourism, and not industry, nor their Captains. Hell, they can't even keep the infrastructure working and up to date anymore, they are so distracted with crap. Autos say it's the 1920's era.

Great postcard!  Does it have an exact date, where did you find it, and did it cost you $57?
