The two teams also set some records: most total yards in any game, eye popping 1,151 yds., Brady most passing at 505 yds., and the second most Superbowl pts. scored at 74. Only SF/SD had 75 pts. in SB 19. If there hadn't been 2 missed extra pts. and a field goal miss, it would have the tops. Only 1 punt was made too, also another record for the great game.

Somebody I caught the game with who never watches football but once in a super blue blood moon thought the Philadelphia Eagles uniforms were a lot like the Michigan State Spartans uniforms, and they are.
I wondered aloud whether Philadelphia would celebrate their victory or defeat like East Lansing does whenever they get involved in a big game. Rioting, turning over cars, etc. They didn't disappoint.

Donald Trump was the winner of Super Bowl 52 because nobody wound up protesting during the anthem, and many people made it known that they would tune out the bowl if anybody did, including me. 

It should be noted that the Patriots only took a knee once this year after Trump made a declaration that owners should fire those that knelt during the anthem; they were almost booed off the field by their hometown fans so it was not a replicated experiment.  Throughout the year none of the Eagles took a knee, but some did raise their fist during the anthem in support of the kneelers.  

I have no problem with protests, but if I feel if they are out-of-place, banal, or just unjustified, I will tune out the nonsense and spend my time with something less foolish.

Congratulations to the Eagles. I only wish the Lions could get off the no Superbowl win list. I didn't see the game because of all the anthem protests. I hope the Eagles don't embarrass professional football by snubbing the visit to the White House.
