Very Good Friday
Once again city offices were closed all of Good Friday. The Christian holiday is not recognized as a legal federal, state, or local holiday, but city hall continues to be closed on this day every year, presumably as a paid holiday for all staff. One of the several reasons why each full-time city hall staffer receives fringe benefits equal to 3/4 of their salary. Is that what you get at your job?

It may have been Good Friday for most folks but with the day off it was a Great Friday for City Workers.

NO, most ppl. work anyhow, but not our city workers. They might even get Monday off after Easter Sunday? And paid of course.
