Torchers, see if you can spot the multiple ways in which this has to be the dumbest public service announcement ever.

If you review the San Francisco based organization that produced the video, it is no joke.  They actually thought having this boy commit numerous felonies, handle the weapon unsafely (carelessly putting it in his backpack for the day, carries it near the trigger, pointing it at the teacher when he gives it to her, etc.) would be an effective way of stopping gun violence by making impressionable kids steal their parent's handgun and turn it into their teachers.  Such behavior can get you shot at school or sent to juvie.  Crazy propaganda.

First of all the gun is accessible to the kid, I assume it's loaded. The kid steals it. Then the kid takes it to school which is an action that requires him to be suspended. He's lucky the teacher didn't have a heart attack or strike out at him thinking he was going to use it. What if the parent discovers the weapon is missing and reports it to the police? What if the kid is stopped by the police or school security before he scares the hell out of his teacher when he gives it to her? I see so many things wrong with this blatantly dumb video. What kind of stupid organization encourages kids to steal a firearm and take it to school? This must be a joke because no reasonable person would ever suggest that a child take this sort of action. One other thing, if the parents had educated their child on gun safety, how to handle weapons and common sense about gun ownership and responsibility then that kid would never have touched that pistol.

The original architect of the video turned the video to private, fortunately there were other places to get it.
