At the end of this video, what do you think should happen?
1) Snake6 (the silent one) should be arrested and prosecuted for obstruction of justice, Officer Hughson should be commended.
2) The prosecutor should decline to press charges against Snake6, but chide him and support the officer.
3) The Henrico police should not prosecute and offer Officer Hughson extra training in Constitutional law, and apologize to Snake6.
4) Officer Hughson should be fired and prosecuted for unlawful assault and detainment, Henrico should settle out of court with Snake6 for civil damages.

There is no wrong answer, this is just offered to see where you may fall in the spectrum. BTW, here are relevant links to Virginia law and precedent: Obstruction of Justice: 18.2-460(A)

Then you would probably go along with the fourth option.  Just imagine what this officer might have done if he was walking through your rural property and saw one of your deer cameras on a tree.

This video demonstrates the arrogance of many police officers who consider their authority to be questioned or ignored and then react like little emperors. The person with the camera did nothing but stand there. To look at it another way let's substitute the man with a tree. The officer sees the tree then talks to it and when he receives no response he cuts it down. The tree hasn't committed a crime, the tree is not bothering anyone, the tree just stands there while the cop tries to show it who's boss. Sounds silly but that's exactly what happened. This is not a question of "obstruction"  because the man with the camera did not interfere with the police. The police officer was the person who guilty of obstruction by creating a situation that required a response for a no violation situation and thus obstructed the legal system.
