Man Punches 8-Year-Old Boy Steals iPad - Aaron Stillday - Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Police say cell phones and other mobile devices are being stolen more often, but a violent robbery involving an 8-year-old boy had a 'happy' ending.

If that were my kid and I caught the guy who hit him, I'm afraid there wouldn't be much left of that crook. I would like to see some of these criminals turned over to the families of their victims so they would get the punishment they deserve. Below is an old story but makes my point.

If you entrust your children with iPads (many schools including LASD require these now) and similar expensive electronics (including cell phones), be wary that some feckless criminals may target them for larceny.  Make sure they keep these things secured whenever possible when they are out, so they are less likely to be victimized.
