Sawyer Hendrickson is only seven years old, but has a humungous sized heart, especially when it comes to our troops. You may remember her efforts earlier this year with getting little army men buckets around the town to let us know these guys and gals in uniform were making sacrifices in order to better protect us. She has now spearheaded an effort to get care packages out to the front lines to let them know we're still thinking about them even during these hectic holiday times.

“She got the idea when she was talking on Skype to her brother, Kyler, who is in the Marines,” Heather says. “He was telling us about how there are a lot men and women in the military who can’t get home for the holidays. She wanted to raise their spirits up and give them a little something for Christmas.” Video courtesy of MCP.
