Those Balls Are Perfect - Tom Brady Songified

Made back on January 15, 2015, after a memorable 30 minute press conference, a creative songsmith and videosmith encapsulated NE Patriot's (and former Michgan star QB) Tom Brady's defense into song. This week, the the NFL Commissioner is likely to suspend Brady on what became known as Deflategate, where Brady or an agent thereof is alleged to have deflated game footballs to enhance his throwing ability.

I told you it wasn't holding air.  Brady will play without suspension rules the judge.  "New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady can suit up for his team’s season opener after a judge erased his four-game suspension for “Deflategate.”

The surprise ruling by U.S. District Judge Richard Berman came Thursday after more than one month of failed settlement talks between the NFL and its players’ union. Many legal experts believed the judge was merely pressuring the sides to settle when he criticized the NFL’s handling of the case at two hearings in August.

But the judge wasn’t posturing.

He came out forcefully in Brady’s favor, maligning the NFL for its handling of the scandal that erupted after the AFC championship game in January, when officials discovered during the first half that Brady used underinflated footballs. New England beat the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 then won the Super Bowl two weeks later.

An NFL investigation led to Brady’s suspension, which Commissioner Roger Goodell upheld."

I almost hate to re-introduce this topic, but Brady's four football game suspension was recently upheld on appeal.  Particularly spurious, they said, was that Brady allegedly 'destroyed' his phone rather than give it to investigators in an effort they believe was to hide damning text messages.  Isn't there two sides to all text messages? Let's also point out that the NFL did not have that authority to legally require this intrusive search which would have brought forth a lot of other irrelevant personal information that would have likely leaked out, embarrassing Brady, his family, and friends.

As per this article where Brady and the Pats owner condemn the severity of the punishment and the lack of any credible evidence that implicates Brady in wrongdoing, I feel compelled to agree with them until something shows some sort of complicity.

Neither is Brady, and his deflated syndrome of balls.

That SNL skit is very funny, back in the day. NOW, Mr. Baldwin isn't so popular though, and I just wonder why.

Speaking of balls. This is an old SNL skit but very funny.

Thanks for that info. Aquaman, I had not heard of the penalties levied against the Patriots. This is going to be a big court battle so all information that has been collected about those footballs will finally be revealed. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Patriots suing the League as well for defamation. Either way, Brady, the Patriots and the League will not be coming out of this with reputations untainted.

I don't think Holman can see past her narcissist nose, let alone across the channel. Sleep tight Pumpkin, dream about the Lions instead of the Patriots tonight.

Good points Willy and X. However, NFL says Brady gone for 4 game suspension, read all about it. Due mostly to his lies and coverup texts erased, and also kept. Also losing 1st and a 4th round draft choice, and team pays $1 Million fine. Brady is expected to appeal, per his attorney Yee. With all the tainted and true publicity, something had to give, and this is it. Sad for the entire NFL and the game, any way you cut it up.
