Jefferson,

I mean absolutely no disrespect to you, but do you not reside in a County farther south from Mason County? Please help the readers and members of "The Ludington Torch" understand your quests, endeavors, etc...when you do  not even reside in the Ludington area.

Jefferson,

In all seriousness your message you are attempting to convey leaves me, and I am sure other's shaking their heads.  I have no idea what in the hell you are talking about.

I completely understand your main objective, but after that and all the mumble jumble it is unclear what exactly your point is.  Woolworth...Sam's Club, K-Mart etc..have to do with what in your endeavor??

No doubt no one stopped the marinas from going forward at what may have been the best stage in time. Transparency V said little about the marinas. Those videos outline a series of problems that well have an affect on all citizens. You answered past of your own question when it comes to showing if any reversals have taken place. But, that is a small beginning. Government is broke and broken. Past V shows how the citizens are effected and Past VI will go the next step. No one thought Woolworth, K-Mart or Penny's would fail. Sam's Club had to stop building. These marinas are puny in the scheme of Michigan Marinas and the private marinas time can return if the owners are willing to see the bigger picture as shown in the videocasts. I don't know what the game plan was to stop what was happening but one error was not knowing how long and by who the design was put in  place. I'm not going to reveal any strategy. I will and have learned, however, from other failed attempts. This surely isn't the forum to compare notes. John Q. is already deeply involved, I'm trying to wake them up and show them. The county drains, city and township infrastructures are falling and has been written in the daily news. If the people want to keep their beaches they need to become involved with where that water empties into and where it's going. I hope that helps AQUAMAN. I'm happy to discuss these issues with everyone. Today media allows people to have massive townhalls from their mobile devices. Just as I am doing this reply from my phone.

Let me just ask this simple question: how do you intend to get John Q. Public interested and involved in all these matters that negatively affect private marina owners, when everyone knows that the Public is only interested in their own little world? If it doesn't affect the Publics' pocketbooks or their private property, why should they put their neck out there to begin with? The two Ludington Mega-Marinas are already built and in place, nothing can reverse that now. I argued from the very start in 1979, one full year before the Lud. Mun. Marina was built, why they needed over 100 docks, when the entire purpose was for a small harbor of refuge for a few boaters in storms out on the lake. The idea was for between 10-15 docks, not 100 at all! I then witnessed the exodous of boaters from private marinas to the City Docks, in large numbers. Except charterboats, at the beginning. Then later in the 90's they also put several charterboats in there. And have kept adding more every year since, until just recently. The horse was out of the corral long ago, since 1980. All that has transpired since is more expansions and amenities being added, with taxpayer dollars. I again ask this question: have you recently, or in the future, intend to get a formal City or State letterhead admitting wrong-doing, and reversal of the last 35 years of unfair, and perhaps illegal, competition with the private sector? XLFD has proven this point over and over the last 7 years. The COL will NEVER admit fault nor sin on ANY subject, irregardless the witnesses and facts. Would you expect the State of Michigan or COL to retract their former actions now? If so, how, and when?

Will I have to disagree. videocast by rule only hold attention for five minutes. Data presented at the time frames I've presented sacrifice cohesion.  I'm not concerned with any comments because the people need to engage. AQUAMan did not have social media. I'm not aware of any product he has brought to my research. I would enjoy him answering my questions because they would help as would the Charter Boat Association. JASPER has already expressed concerns with a lost message. I can guarantee it has not been lost as the entire message is far from having been fully presented. If specific were asked I could be more helpful to fill in where anyone had a question. I don't think AQUAMAN is lost according to his comments. I doubt anyone has researched this to the depths Raymond Karboske and I have. If there is information that could be shared and it hasn't then those people should ask why they won't help. If AQUAMAN  had the information I do now and thinks court action is warranted I have to ask any didn't he? That's just an honest question not a challenge to that person. Others shouldn't be concerned I would feel challenged and I don't think the most recent comments are a challenge. I have invited comments. I invite comments now. We need the public to meet. On July 18, 2013 Mr. Karboske had a meeting hijacked. Again, the videos expose that in depth and need to be viewed more than once with so much information and ask questions. There has only been five videos. I can assure people there is no need to be concerned these videos are not worth their time and they may take that away from these comments. I think we are all self taught because we learn at our own pace and now we can learn from experts about software, hardware, video time rules and then decide what corners to cut or rules to break to get a message out when I decided to add my face on many problems and issues. I appreciate the past efforts. This isn't my first dance in Mason County. I've learned a lot, I know many in the public and private sector have as well. Let's keep it going. There are willing minds that want to help this area. Let's show them we're up to it. JFH

I would second Jasper's comment, Jefferson, and only add that making the complex, interconnected issues involved cohesive, focused and glitch-free is a difficult task for any self-taught videographer.  Please do not take such as negative criticism, my hope is that your message can be heard, understood, and acted on.

Aquaman has fought with several of the same official adversaries you have, with little to show for his efforts and sacrifices other than a realization that they don't generally follow the rules or their oaths of office.  Don't believe he's not supportive of your efforts and willing to help you, but he's wary of getting fair and positive results from a complicit state/local government cabal.

Jefferson,

I applaud you and your efforts to bring awareness to a various serious matter.  However, after viewing several of your "Transparency Video's," I found them very difficult to follow.  IMHO...the message you are trying to portray to your viewer's gets lost due to lack of cohesiveness.  Your video is very chopped up in your deliverance and the message is lost!

Again, I applaud you for your efforts.....

On WWII please read what XLFD wrote that history was spot on.
Your comments of history AQUAMAN are in question for me. Unfortunately you've added or have not every added anything to me to begin to study. I would be happy to be corrected or further educated.
I do believe people can ask for answers from the Michigan Charter Boat Association because they played a part in these harbor marina designs. That would seem to be a conflict of interest of the private marina owners in Michigan; would you agree? Have you had discussions of the influence of the late Keith Wilson? Do you know why his name is on a wing of the library in downtown Ludington?
This is not my place to prove anything or answer to your demand for any help you could offer. I'm actually dumbfounded you seem to view me as an advisory. This forum is for the people to speak and in my case blow a trumpet, a clarion call. The people of Mason County will soon be asked to pay millions of dollars just as the citizens of Scottville were asked. History needs to be recorded accurately; not just the past but the near future. Anything further I could add are in the videos. Spread the word, watch these videos. The people can know and determine what is truth rather than wait and determine what was the truth and the opportunity to join in to work together had once again been subverted. Watch these videos here or in your living rooms on YouTube. We all live in the Pere Marquette Watershed. It is YOUR government and YOUR Watershed, your waterways, your beaches. Do not cede your God given power to a few. We will begin to have public meetings for those in the Fourth Ward. Stay tuned.

I don't see any similarity of Transparency to WW II, and for the record, I didn't surrender anything on this subject matter, but I certainly feel like the private sector marinas have been trounced on and ignored. I started this movement against the COL some 30 years ago, not just recently. I went to city commission meetings and voiced opposition to the way the city marina conducted it's business, over and over again. All this except the charterboat intrusions of stealing them away from private marinas, is all old news to me. I even noted that the majority of people on waiting lists with the city marina, in making a case for more docks at Harbor View, was totally inaccurate. Most of the people I contacted on that list didn't even own boats, and were all city cronies that the city of Lud. willfully selected to sign up. I was told by Roger Anderson that I would no longer be allowed any waiting list information after collecting that info. for 3 years in a row, that was the mid-90's too. All I'm asking for in this instance of revelations that are well documented and accurate, is to question what the plan is going forward. You can fight and argue with all the State of Mich. and local agencies you want to, but how do you plan to stop them. I also haven't seen any formal letters from any agency that states they realize they have broken their own charter rules, that they have harbored charterboats illegally, or that they are making any future changes to correct their former actions. When you get THAT INFORMATION and list it here, I will start to believe some changes may take place for the better. Until then, this is all just talk and not doing anything to change the way they do business.

The nuts reference was from World War 2, at the Battle of the Bulge at Bastogne, where my father got wounded fighting for this country (see the NUTS story here).  Jefferson was just not agreeing with your terms of surrender, Aquaman.

If the law isn't being followed by officials or our government is acting corruptly, we can either sit back and watch it happen and accept the consequences.  Or we can step forth and demand accountability, and fight against the tyranny.  Indeed, it is your civic duty to do so when you know you are in the right, regardless of the consequences for your own self by doing so.

What Mr. Henry and Mr. Karboske are doing is exceptionally courageous and worthy of the support of anyone who believes in government accountability and knows this area has very little of it.  To battle it, you have to fight on a lot of fronts, and endure a lot of barrages from the entrenched artillery of the corrupted.
