City Attorney Richard Wilson from Manistee cashes his last paycheck from the citizens of Ludington, perhaps. Likely enhanced by his law firm's handling of the FOIA appeal that has been dragged through the courts for three years, where they defended the City not properly responding to a FOIA request, then permitted City Manager John Shay to lie on an affidavit to make their unsound defense seem legitimate. For the last year, they have refused to remunerate the plaintiffs for costs and disbursements ordered by the Michigan Court of Appeals. And why not, their firm only gets more and more of your money by doing so in paying their $185/hour fee.
