I don't like the gubment 'seizing' anything for the most part, overstepping and all that.

But if I were a creator of something(product/goods), designer, artist or actor I would want to get paid for my work.

It comes down to finding the line between protecting copyrighted material and allowing the public to enjoy or copy it off the web. Not easy to define sometimes, as things you put up on the internet isn't automatically copyrighted, and easy to copy/share. The government goons probably shouldn't intervene unless the violations are blatant and frequent.
