The House passed the Dream Act which would allow any illegal under the age of 30 to be granted citizenship because their illegal mommy and daddy brought them here and oh my goodness it's not their fault they are illegal. I am so sick of the Democrats. Sneaky, slithering, slimey, backstabbing, lying peices of crap. As you can tell I am p-ssed. The Senate may not pass this bill but you never know what goes on inside  empty selfish heads.

Thanks for offering up the Federalist views on this Max, you'd hope that alone would wake some up from the wetback dream law. For all the feely goods, maybe you can get your wish soon enough, let's just close down the INS, pull back all the border people and put them on unemployment, and repeal all the immigration laws forever. That way we can all sit back in comfort and not be bothered with these hassles of illegals. It's far less an important issue than we need to be involved in or care about, as our Washington leaders have just proven to us in the recent lame duck session. The country of Mexico evolved way earlier than the USA, so, what have they got to show for all these hundreds of years in progress and socialism?

Hey wait...Both parties are responsible for passing stupid bills.

They know that if they don't get the "dream act" for illegals passed NOW it won't get passed for a few years. That was one of the promises that got Obama voted in and if it does not go through he will lose a lot of votes in the next elections.

 

There are both dems and repubs for and against this bill. Stabenow and Levin favor opening the doors and giving all the jobs & welfare to those who enter this country without visa's.

 

The children who benefit will then be able to get amnesty for their parents, grandparents, cousins etc cause they will now be legal.

Well thought out and correct Masonco, both parties are too much at fault here right now. Btw, since when is the USA NOT a Global Nation or Society? Heck, we've been actively trading with other nations since our country started, with France, Spain, England, the West Indies, and anyone else that wanted free trade. It was some 100's years later when we enforced tariffs for trade, and that was a smart move by our forefathers, to protect our own jobs at home first, over unfairly underpriced products shipped here. These cute little slogans the politicians make us swallow, this time for the "children of illegals" is preposterously disguised to make another wrong into a right. Guess it should also come with a nice jingle to match it, you know, some fav. song from the 60's that everyone loved, so no one will question the motives of such actions. How about the Jingle Bell jingle? I prefer the one where the DOG does the lyrics, you know, woof woof woof, woof woof woof, spoofing all the way, oh what fun it is today, to ride in a hispanic/chinese made sleigh, eh?
